We make one promise on this website: that we will prove what we claim. This page explains, in plain language, what our claims mean and what they do not. If anything here is unclear, write to us and we will share the report behind the claim.

1. Near medical-grade filtration. Not a medical device.

KyoAir purifiers use near medical-grade (H13 HEPA) filtration. They are consumer air-quality appliances, not medical or health devices. KyoAir does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and makes no medical or health guarantee. Nothing on this website is medical advice or a claim to protect against any illness, infection or condition. If you have a health concern, please speak to a qualified doctor.

2. Air-quality readings and the Air Check

Our before and after readings, including any Air Check we carry out in your home, show a change in measured airborne particulate (PM2.5). They are not a health outcome.

A single reading is a snapshot of one room at one moment. It reads higher after cooking or incense and lower on a clean, still afternoon. Your results will vary with room size, ceiling height, ventilation, season, outdoor air and the pollution sources in your home. Any figures we show in marketing (for example, a drop from 186 to about 32) are illustrative. They are not a promise of the number you will see.

3. How to read our performance figures

All performance figures are "up to" values measured under laboratory or test conditions. They are not guaranteed results in every home.

• Filtration efficiency (such as an H13 HEPA rating) is a laboratory measurement at a stated particle size. It describes the filter, not the air in your room.
• CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate) and coverage area are each model's stated maximum, certified by the named laboratory where noted. Coverage assumes a stated number of air changes per hour, so a larger or busier room will clear more slowly.
• Noise, run-time and filter-life figures are typical values and depend on the fan setting and your environment.

4. Independent testing and certifications

Where we cite an independent test, we name the laboratory so you can verify it.

• The live SARS-CoV-2 result was a controlled laboratory test of airborne virus reduction, carried out by Innovative Bioanalysis Inc. (a CAP and CLIA licensed US laboratory) against a specific variant under test conditions. It shows the filter's ability to capture and reduce airborne virus particles in that test. It is not a claim that any KyoAir product prevents COVID-19, or any other infection, in real-world use.
• CADR figures described as certified were measured by the Guangzhou Institute of Microbiology (CNAS accredited).
• Electrical safety is certified to UL (File [E506176]). Electromagnetic compatibility is certified by Waltek on applicable models.

5. The Clean-Air Guarantee

Our Clean-Air Guarantee is about measured air, not health. We measure the particulate level in your room before and after, on a monitor you can see. If the number does not fall, we will first try to fix it by adjusting placement, adding capacity or swapping the unit. If we still cannot achieve a measurable drop, we will refund your purchase within [15] days.

The guarantee covers a measurable reduction in particulate, not a specific target number and not any health result. It is separate from, and in addition to, your [1-year] product warranty. [Confirm here: eligible rooms, conditions and any exclusions.]

6. Comparison data

Comparison details were taken from each brand's own published information and listed Indian retail prices as of June 2026. BIOGUARD figures are from the KyoAir product page. Dyson Big+Quiet (BP02) specifications and price are from Dyson India (dyson.in) and authorised retailers. Coway Airmega 250 (AP-1720H) details are from Coway India and Amazon India. Philips AC4221 details are from Philips and listed retailers. Prices change often and are usually lower than MRP, so check the seller for the current figure. Dyson does not publish a CADR rating for this model, as the company uses its own whole-room test instead. Coverage figures are each brand's own stated maximum and may be measured under different air-change assumptions, so they are a guide rather than a like-for-like number.

7. Pricing and savings

All prices are shown in Indian Rupees and include GST where applicable. The price you see is our genuine selling price. We do not inflate a "regular price" or MRP to show a larger discount. Where we describe an item as included free, or show its value, that value is the real standalone price of that item, not a notional figure. Prices and included offers can change, and the price shown at checkout is the one that applies.

8. Customer reviews and testimonials

Reviews and testimonials are the personal experiences and opinions of individual customers. They are not a guarantee that you will have the same experience. Any comment about how a person feels is their own account, not a health claim by KyoAir. We do not pay for reviews.

9. Doctors and health professionals

Any doctor or health professional quoted on this website speaks as an authority on air quality. Nothing they say is a product endorsement, a medical recommendation or medical advice.
