"I was an asthmatic from the age of ten. I grew out of it in my late teens, but I never forgot what it feels like to fight for a clean breath. Forty years later, after building premium homes for India's most discerning families, I built KyoAir because the one thing inside those homes that nobody was honest about was the air."
— Aditya Gupta, Founder of KyoAir

Why an Indian home needs a different answer
Most purifiers sold here were designed for smaller, sealed apartments in temperate climates. Indian homes are different in almost every way that matters for air quality.
What makes Indian air harder to clean:
- Our rooms are larger and our ceilings are higher.
- Our air carries a more complex mix: agarbatti, cooking smoke, diesel, construction dust.
- A single HEPA filter is not enough here. Multi-layer filtration is a baseline, not a premium.
- Open layouts mean the air keeps moving. The machine has to keep up.
- Pollution is not seasonal. It is every day, all year.
- India's dry air makes fine particles lighter and easier to inhale.
The right solution is not imported. It is built for India.

About the Founder
Aditya Gupta’s career has been built on understanding products at their source and delivering them without compromise.
From 1986 to 2003, he ran an international textile export business, working with manufacturers and buyers across Europe, the Americas, and Asia. This built deep expertise in global supply chains, cross-cultural negotiation, and quality at scale.
In 2003, he founded The Soundsmiths, designing and integrating high-end home AV and automation systems for discerning Indian households for over two decades.
KyoAir brings these two worlds together. After years of searching for an air purifier truly built for Indian conditions and finding only unaccountable commodity brands, he built one himself.
Because the air inside your home deserves the same attention you give everything else in it.
Our Foundation
Every decision we make, every product we build, comes back to these. Not as a checklist. As a standard we hold ourselves to without exception.

Complete Purification
Most purifiers solve part of the problem. A HEPA filter catches particles but ignores gases. An activated carbon layer handles VOCs but leaves bacteria untouched. And in India's humid air, a damp filter interior becomes a breeding ground for the very microbes you are trying to remove.
We built KyoAir to target all of it at once. Particles, gases, odours, and microbes. And the UV light inside every unit keeps the filter environment dry and clean, so the machine itself never becomes the problem.
Because air that is only partially clean is still a problem.

Built for India
The purifiers available here were mostly designed elsewhere, for different climates, different pollution sources, different ways of living. Indian homes deal with construction dust, cooking smoke, seasonal haze, and humidity that most global products were never tested against. Every KyoAir product is engineered for these conditions specifically. Not adapted. Built for them.

Measurable Numbers
Most purifiers are rated for large rooms at a single air change per hour. Our higher-powered machines deliver four to five air changes per hour for the same space. That is not a small difference. We hold every product to international benchmarks including CARB, ANSI, AHAM, ISO, and GB/T because clean air should be provable, not just promised.
